Knightscope Telecom Infrastructure

We were hired by our client, Knightscope, to design and build the telecom and IT network infrastructure for their new headquarters in Sunnyvale. As the project progressed, we uncovered a surprising and critical issue: the building had no internet connection—none at all.

This was a baffling discovery. In the heart of Silicon Valley—arguably the global epicenter of technology—you’d expect basic internet connectivity to be a given. But unfortunately, this isn’t the first time we’ve seen this. And it might explain why the building has sat vacant for over three years.

After more than two decades in the telecom industry, one thing has become clear: many building owners and developers overlook the importance of telecom infrastructure. Often categorized as “low-voltage” work, it typically doesn’t require a permit and is not enforced by code in the same way as electrical or structural systems. As a result, telecom rooms are frequently left in chaos—cabling disasters that look more like a rat’s nest than mission-critical infrastructure.

But we are not your typical telecom company. We approach every project—every telecom room—with the same level of care and craftsmanship we would demand in our own homes. Clean layouts, professional finishes, and scalable design aren’t just luxuries—they’re necessities for modern business.

We believe great infrastructure should look as good as it performs. And when it’s done right, the pictures speak for themselves.
