The Future of the Telecom Box is Here — And It’s Long Overdue

They say a picture is worth a thousand words — and when you see the “before and after” of a typical telecom installation versus our solution, the message is loud and clear.

For too long, Internet Service Providers (ISPs) have installed their equipment with little regard for aesthetics, efficiency, or homeowners. Their technicians often work in silos, resulting in messy, redundant boxes hanging off walls — sometimes three or four — just to do one job: deliver an internet connection.

After over 20 years in the industry, I decided enough was enough. I designed and patented the Universal Telecom Hub — a consolidated, centralized solution that streamlines all ISP connections into a single, clean, efficient unit. It reduces labor costs, eliminates redundancy, preserves curb appeal, and prepares homes for the future of broadband.

But change won’t happen from the top down. It starts with you — the homeowner. If there’s demand, the industry will respond with supply. If enough homeowners insist on smarter, cleaner infrastructure, standardization and policy will follow.

Let’s stop settling for clutter and inefficiency. Let’s create a new standard — together.

“Be Water, My Friend.” — Bruce Lee

There’s been a lot of negativity and even hostility toward DEI efforts and immigrants lately—claims that we’re not contributing to society. But the truth is, America was and still is built by immigrants. Our strength as a nation isn’t defined by a single political figure. It lies in our diversity.

Like Bruce Lee, I’m an immigrant. And like him, I’m a product of Oakland.

A few months ago, I stood at Frank Ogawa Plaza in Oakland, trying to secure a meeting with Turner Construction to present my patented Universal Telecom Hub. Despite being a graduate of their management program in 2021, no one returned my calls. It was disappointing—but not discouraging. I kept going. And recently, I was awarded both the design and utility patent for my invention by the USPTO.

So what is this hub?

It’s a game-changer in the telecommunications space. It consolidates all telecom connections into a single point—making work easier for technicians, keeping cables organized for property managers, and helping contractors streamline installations. It saves time and money for property owners.

But beyond its function, this hub is an asset. It creates recurring revenue for multi-unit real estate developers—revenue that most haven’t tapped into yet. Over the next 5–10 years, you’ll see this hub installed in every new residential development, every commercial mixed-use building, high-rises, and even on telephone poles around the world.

My vision goes beyond just organizing telecom rooms. I want to make high-speed bandwidth affordable for everyone, creating new opportunities and contributing to a more connected, prosperous world.

Yes, Oakland has its challenges—political dysfunction, crime, homelessness—but the city doesn’t make the people. The people make the city. And Oakland is a melting pot of resilience, culture, and strength. That’s the core of our identity.

I hope that with this invention, I can make my city proud—standing on the shoulders of greats like Bill Russell, Tom Hanks, Bruce Lee, E-40, and Damian Lillard.

We’re immigrants.
We’re dreamers.
We’re builders.
And we are Oakland strong.
